Far ahead in the game (in a place I've not yet seen) there are statues of the gods. When you have the favor of the gods, you can kneel before these statues and and pay a hefty tribute (1000 g) and they'll grant you access to the underworld. From what I've heard it's just as nasty and hurtful as all those religious fanatics have been screaming that it is.
You have the favor of the gods when your heroes (the PvP players) win a designated number of times in the Hall of Heroes. |

There is a town in the middle of Kryta called Temple of the Ages where you have access to the underword or fissure when your country has the favor of the gods. In that town you can pay the ghost 1,000 gold and go into those locations.
If you want to attempt the journey to Temple I'll leave a map link. But as someone recently posted here on the forums, it's pretty much a journey through hell to get there. http://www.promisance.biz/guildwars/GWMapMiniKryta.jpg |

BTW, don't be decieved by the map. If you leave from Beetletun, you have to go so far around a mountain that it's much quicker/easier to leave from Bergen Hot Springs. Beetletun LOOKS shorter, but the map doesn't show cliffs/invisible walls that block what looks like it would have been the short way.

C-Tzar: thank you for pointing that out, I was wondering why when in the Bergen Hot Springs you would always here groups leaving for the temple yet in Beetletun you would not hear as many.

No need to hurry anyway. Unlike missions its not possible to survive with the 7 henchmen you are allowed to get for the Underworld or fissure. Because when the last human chr. dies, its game over! And I can assure you, 1 monster there can kill a level 17 in 2 blows
This is only for high level chr's in a well organized party. So take your time to get there |

Last time I was in a group that tried to take henchmen into UW, they vanished when we got in. Seems you can't take henchies in. But even if you could, those lv 15 wussbags would be lucky to survive one hit in there.
